I love envisioning these beautiful birds in a dazzling setting. In this collage the Great Egret is enjoying a sunset stroll through the marshy grasses under a cerulean sky. The work is a mixed media collage including various papers, watercolor, and alcohol ink. Rich blues, variegated greens, and a touch of orange and gold--magic!

I create dazzling collages that interpret the natural world through our collective imagination. Inspired by story, whimsy, and wildlife, I am so excited to share my vibrant original designs with you as original art and giclee prints as well as on fabric and textiles such as tea towels, pillows, tote bags, scarves, and other accessories. I have always believed that magic is all around us, and I found mixed media collage to be the best way to portray the joy and wonder in our world. My collages are built of layers of various papers and accented with stamps, watercolor, and alcohol ink. I use an acrylic gel medium to glue and seal my work, and am happiest when my fingers are stuck together with glue and dappled with several colors.
